The daddy do-over is not one treatment, but a comprehensive collection of procedures that can address the unique concerns men commonly face throughout their lives. Factors such as fatherhood, work, stress, or even the natural effects of aging often exaggerate notable physical changes, which may include wrinkles, hair loss, changes in physique, and more.

Available Procedures

Dr. Grunberg will fully customize your treatment plan. While the exact procedures she performs will vary, she typically combines Botox and Dysport, our gynecomastia treatments, laser hair removal, PRP hair restoration, tummy tucks, liposuction, and VASER Hi-Def liposuction.

Botox & Dysport

Many men see wrinkles, creases, or crow’s feet form, especially when they face stress or pressure from work or the responsibilities of fatherhood. To address these changes and refresh your appearance, we offer Botox and Dysport.

Brotox and Dysport are injectable treatments that can soften visible signs of facial aging. These treatments are both FDA-approved neuromodulators derived from the protein botulinum toxin A. (1) This means they target and inhibit the neurotransmitters responsible for the repeated muscle contractions that lead to the development of creases and wrinkles. This allows you to not only address your existing wrinkles, but also prevent new ones from forming.

Gynecomastia Treatment

Gynecomastia is a common condition of enlarged or excessively full male breasts. This condition typically occurs in older men due to a decline in testosterone levels or as a side effect of medications. (2) Dr. Grunberg can perform a gynecomastia treatment using either liposuction techniques or surgical intervention to help you restore a flatter, more masculine-looking sculpt to your chest.

Laser Hair Removal

Dr. Grunberg can integrate laser hair removal into your treatment plan if you are interested in improving self-grooming, reducing skin irritation, and achieving smoother skin overall. Laser hair removal is a non-surgical treatment that uses cutting-edge laser technology to reduce unwanted hair growth from various areas of the body. (3)

PRP Hair Restoration

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) hair restoration uses a concentrated platelet solution to slow hair loss, enhance your natural hair growth, and improve the health, appearance, and well-being of your scalp. Tummy Tuck

A tummy tuck is a surgical body-contouring procedure that can restore a flatter and smoother stomach and a more defined waist by strengthening the abdominal wall muscles, excising lax skin, and removing excess fat. Preparation

Once you have scheduled your daddy do-over, you will need to make several preparations. Dr. Grunberg will provide a set of instructions to help you, which may include:

  • Avoiding Specific Medications: Discontinue using any blood-thinning medications or supplements under medical guidance.
  • Preparing Time Away: Arrange time away from your professional and social commitments to allow yourself time to heal.
  • Arranging Transportation Home: Ask a trusted friend or family member to drive you home after your procedure.
  • Staying Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before your appointment to keep yourself hydrated.
  • Refraining from Certain Substances: Avoid consuming any nicotine or alcohol in the weeks leading up to your procedure, as they can lead to the development of certain complications.

Procedure

Dr. Grunberg performs each daddy do-over at her office on an outpatient basis. Upon your arrival, a member of the Alluring Aesthetics team will lead you to your private surgical suite, where you will meet with Dr. Grunberg one last time. She will reconfirm each of your desired corrections with you before cleansing your skin. You will then receive anesthesia to elevate your comfort throughout the experience.

Dr. Grunberg will then proceed to perform your daddy do-over. The details of your procedure will vary, but it may include a combination of different injectables, laser treatments, or surgical intervention. In any case, Dr. Grunberg will discuss your procedure with you in advance so you understand what to expect.

Recovery

Your exact recovery process will vary depending on the combination of treatments you receive. Our nonsurgical treatments, such as our injectables or laser treatments, often require little to no downtime. You may experience some swelling, bruising, or tenderness around the areas Dr. Grunberg addressed, but these effects will subside on their own shortly after. If you undergo a surgical procedure, you will need to take some time away from your routine to focus on resting.
