About VASER Lipo with Hi-Def Options

If you’re already in pretty good shape physically but are having trouble shaping your body in the way you’d like, VASER high definition liposuction can be the right solution for you.

Instead of using traditional liposuction to remove fat from certain areas, this procedure removes fat and shapes your body without more invasive surgery. Therefore, the recovery time is much less when compared to traditional liposuction. As with standard liposuction, VASER high definition liposuction can be used on just about every part of the body, including buttocks, thighs, arms, and the chin/neck area. You’ll be amazed by the results!

What Exactly Is VASER?

VASER stands for vibration amplification of sound energy at resonance. VASER combines traditional liposuction with ultrasound technology. The sound energy helps break apart the fat cells in the targeted location and makes it easier for the liposuction to remove the fat deposits. The use of the ultrasonic waves allows the liposuction to be more precise with less chance of damaging the surrounding muscle and other tissue. The VASER process feels more gentle than traditional liposuction to patients.

What Is VASER High-Definition Liposuction?

VASER Hi-Def represents an important advanced on VASER liposuction. The basic technique remains the same but the application focuses more on bringing out muscle definition and reshaping the contours of the body. VASER Hi-Def helps you remodel your shape. Many women want an hourglass figure while men desire the V-shape. VASER Hi-Def can help you achieve those ideal proportions you seek.

VASER Benefits

  • Refined body sculpting
  • Only targets unwanted fat cells
  • Makes it easy to remove the fat cells
  • Easier to transplant fat cells for fat transfer
  • Can be performed under local anesthesia and IV sedation

Eligible Candidates

Eligible candidates are looking to remove troublesome fat deposits to reveal the muscle tone hidden underneath. We recommend candidates be at or near their ideal body weight, which usually means within 15 lbs. VASER liposuction will typically remove about 6-8 pounds of excess fat from the problematic area.

Candidates should have realistic expectations. VASER Hi-Def lipo is not a weight-loss solution. It doesn’t remove significant amounts of weight. It’s a body contouring procedure designed to refine your silhouette and help you over those final humps on the road to the body you want. It supplements a healthy lifestyle and helps you sculpt the final shape you desire.

Men shouldn’t feel left out. Recent studies indicate that VASER liposuction may help initiate positive metabolic changes in overweight men.[2] We encourage both men and women looking to achieve a positive body image to contact us and set up a consultation to see if VASER Hi-Def is right for you.

Preparation

Make sure to mention any prescription medication you are taking during your consultation. It’s best to stop smoking as soon as possible. Smoking restricts the amount of oxygen in your blood which impedes your body’s ability to heal properly. Smoking also carries other risks of complications for any procedure, which you want to avoid.

Two weeks before your VASER Hi-Def session, you should stop taking medication that thins your blood. These medications include ibuprofen, aspirin, and Aleve.

The day before your VASER Hi-Def session, you should refrain from drinking alcohol. You want your circulation to be functioning at an optimal level to maximize healing.

The VASER Procedure

During your VASER Hi-Def session, you’ll be placed under the appropriate anesthesia. This may be general or local anesthesia. Once under comfortable sedation, we will inject a tumescent liquid into the targeted area. Then, the ultrasonic probes will be inserted and used to break up the fat deposits in the targeted area. The sound waves will gently prepare your unwanted fat cells for removal. Once prepped with the sonic energy, we will employ a cannula (narrow tube) to the region and gently vacuum the dislodged fat tissue. Most of the fluid will also be removed through the cannula although a small amount will be left behind to keep the area numb and assist in post-operative recovery.

Recovery

Recovery from VASER Hi-Def takes place in stages. You’ll begin feeling better after a few days but your body won’t fully recover for a few months. Don’t rush it. Your body needs time to adjust to its new marvelous state. Enjoy the process of your body adapting to the new shape you desire.

Complementary Procedures

VASER high definition liposuction is a remarkable procedure that produces meaningful results. However, it doesn’t resolve every issue. VASER plays well with BodyTite. While VASER focuses on fat removal, BodyTite focuses more on tightening the skin as well as helping to remove stubborn areas of fat accumulation. Together, the two procedures can tackle a wide range of body contouring requests.

How Much Does VASER Hi-Def Cost in San Antonio?

Two people may get VASER liposuction but the procedures could differ greatly depending on location, aesthetic goals, and medical history. We will provide you a complete list of prices during your consultation after a comprehensive review of your circumstances and expectations.

FAQ

Is VASER Hi-Def lipo painful?

No, VASER high definition liposuction is performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with IV sedation and results in minimal discomfort.

Is VASER Hi-Def worth it?

If you’re looking for a targeted body sculpting solution and you already maintain stable body weight, then VASER Hi-Def can be a great way to enhance your physique.

Does fat return after VASER liposuction?

The fat tissue removed through VASER doesn’t return. You don’t grow new fat cells after adulthood. By adulthood, you have a set number of fat cells. However, that doesn’t mean you can just let yourself go and eat junk food while sitting on the sofa eating bonbons. Your remaining fat cells will expand in those cases. It’s not advisable to attempt to remove every single fat cell. Fat cells do serve an important purpose in healthy individuals. Fat cells hold lipids which are used as fuel for our body. Healthy, fit individuals need some fat cells.
