Ozempic Breast
“Ozempic breast” is a condition that occurs after significant weight loss through the use of GLP-1 medications. During your procedure, Dr. Grunberg can use specialized techniques to remove more skin for a natural-looking appearance. After weight loss with these medications, it is common to experience droopy skin in multiple areas of the body, colloquially known as “Ozempic body.” Dr. Grunberg can discuss combining your breast enhancement with additional procedures to address excess skin so you can enjoy your weight loss achievement.
Breast Enhancement Procedures
Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation increases the volume of your breasts. The type of implant you receive will depend on your aesthetic goals. Dr. Grunberg offers implants in different shapes and sizes for beautiful, natural-looking volume. During your consultation, Dr. Grunberg will discuss several factors to create the best treatment plan for your needs:
- Implant type: Dr. Grunberg selects implants based on your underlying anatomy and your aesthetic goals so you can achieve natural-looking volume.
- Implant placement: Dr. Grunberg can place the implant in front of the muscle, behind it, or partially behind it, (2) depending on your anatomy.
- Incision type: Dr. Grunberg can make incisions along your body’s natural curves depending on the type of breast enhancement procedure you receive.
Breast Lift
A breast lift reduces droopy skin and raises the position of the breasts for a more youthful-looking appearance. Droopy skin can affect the way your bras fit and cause uncomfortable rashes along the lower breast fold (inframammary crease). Removing the excess skin can restore your self-confidence and help you achieve a curvier figure for long-lasting results. Dr. Grunberg can make several different types of incisions, depending on the condition of your breasts:
- Crescent: Dr. Grunberg can remove excess skin for a smoother appearance by making a thin incision along the upper half of the areola.
- Donut: For mild sagging, Dr. Grunberg can make a longer incision along the edge of the areola.
- Lollipop: Dr. Grunberg can make an incision along the areola and extend it vertically along the lower side of the breast until it reaches the lower breast crease.
- Inverted T/Anchor: Dr. Grunberg can make an incision that extends vertically along the underside of the breast and horizontally along the inframammary crease. (3)
Depending on your body goals, Dr. Grunberg can perform a breast augmentation with a lift to increase the volume of the breasts, remove excess skin, and lift the position of your breasts for a fuller, curvier figure. Performing both breast augmentation and a lift in a single procedure can also minimize downtime.
Breast Implant Revision
Breast implant revision is a procedure that removes your old implants and replaces them with new ones. Aging, pregnancy, weight fluctuations, and changes to your aesthetic preferences can impact the way you feel about breast implants. Some women also experience complications after receiving implants that affect their appearance. With breast implant revision, Dr. Grunberg can address several concerns, which include:
- Ruptured implants

Breast Implants
Breast implants increase the volume of your breasts for a curvier look. Dr. Grunberg offers several different types of implants, depending on your needs:
- Saline: Salt water-filled implants can provide a smaller cup size increase with a more discreet placement through the armpit since Dr. Grunberg fills the implant after placing it into the breast pocket.
- Silicone: Dr. Grunberg can increase the volume of your breasts with a soft gel that mimics natural breast tissue.
- Gummy Bear: Dr. Grunberg can place an implant that is filled with a firmer silicone gel to improve breast projection, resulting in natural-looking results.
Breast Reduction
Breast reduction decreases the volume of your breasts to create a smaller breast mound. The procedure can help alleviate back, neck, and shoulder pain in women with large breasts. It can also help you balance your body proportions and enhance your natural curves. During the procedure, Dr. Grunberg will remove the fatty and/or granular breast tissue to reshape the breasts and create a smaller, natural-looking breast mound.
Fat Grafting
Fat grafting, also known as a fat transfer, is a procedure that increases the volume of your breasts with excess fat from another area of your body. Dr. Grunberg can remove excess fat from the outer thighs, hands, face, breasts, and/or buttocks with liposuction and reinject it into your breasts for beautiful, natural-looking volume. Liposuction removes excess fat with gentle suction while preserving the surrounding tissue. During the procedure, Dr. Grunberg will administer tumescent fluid–a combination of saline, lidocaine, and epinephrine–that causes the fat cells to swell for easier removal. Many women choose to increase the volume of their breasts with a fat graft to achieve their desired look. Dr. Grunberg can also combine a fat graft with other breast enhancement procedures to help you achieve your desired look.

Preparation
To prepare for breast enhancement, you must stop smoking temporarily for 6 weeks and stop drinking alcohol for approximately 24 hours. We also recommend that you create a comfortable place in your home to recover and schedule several weeks off of work so you can rest and focus on your recovery.
