Preparation

Once you have scheduled your procedure, you will need to begin making certain preparations. Dr. Grunberg will provide detailed instructions to guide you.

  • Avoid Certain Medications: Refrain from taking any medications or supplements that contain blood-thinning properties, because they may increase your risk of bleeding or bruising.
  • Prepare Transportation: Have a trusted friend or family member drive you home after your procedure, as you will be unable to drive yourself.
  • Arrange Time Away: Request time away from your career, responsibilities, and other commitments.
  • Fill Your Prescriptions: Dr. Grunberg advises picking up any prescriptions or medications you may need for your recovery.
  • Ceasing Any Substances: Avoid consuming alcohol or nicotine in the weeks leading up to your procedure, as both substances can lead to several complications.

Procedure

Upon your arrival, a member of the Alluring Aesthetics team will lead you to a private treatment room where you will meet with Dr. Grunberg. Here, she will reconfirm your treatment plan and cleanse your skin. She will also administer either a topical or local anesthetic to elevate your experience.

Dr. Grunberg will use a fine syringe and carefully inject the appropriate amount of alloClae into each of your desired treatment areas, such as the face, breasts, or buttocks. When addressing the face, Dr. Grunburg may address your cheeks, temples, jawline, or forehead to address volume loss or visible signs of aging. She may also administer alloClae to the breasts or buttocks to enhance shape, symmetry, and size. The hip dips are another common treatment area. For intimate rejuvenation, Dr. Grunberg can administer alloClae into the labia.

Recovery

After your procedure, it is common to experience some swelling or bruising around the treated areas. These effects are temporary, but you may manage them by using a cold compress, taking medications, staying hydrated, and getting plenty of rest. You may return to most of your daily activities after approximately one to two days, but you will need to refrain from any physically demanding activities until Dr. Grunberg clears you to return.

Dr. Grunberg will provide you with a detailed set of post-operative instructions to help guide you through your recovery. These instructions will vary depending on the details of your treatment plan, but each one can help you return to your routine more safely and comfortably.

Results
